Better Dog Spaces

Privacy notice

How this website handles contact enquiries and basic site data.

Better Dog Spaces collects the information you choose to send through the contact form: your name, email address, enquiry type, message and optional page address. A hidden spam field and Cloudflare Turnstile help protect the form.

Why we use it

We use enquiry data to respond, investigate corrections and protect the form from abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the publication, or taking steps at your request where your enquiry concerns a proposed relationship.

Storage and processors

Form submissions are saved in the portfolio’s Cloudflare D1 database with the Better Dog Spaces site identifier before an email notification is sent. Cloudflare provides hosting, email routing, security and form infrastructure and may process technical request data under its own terms. We do not sell contact data.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, referral sources and page-loading performance. We use these statistics solely to improve the website. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies or fingerprint visitors. You can turn it off for this browser on the cookies and analytics page.

Routine enquiries are kept only as long as needed and are reviewed for deletion within 12 months. Records may be kept longer where needed to handle a continuing issue or legal obligation.

Your choices

You may ask for access, correction or deletion of your contact data through the contact form. The site operator will verify the request before acting. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your data has been mishandled.
